While Android remains king, iOS may be a vital platform and at some point, you'll want to undertake Apple‘s mobile OS. We won’t judge! Hey, maybe you only want to possess a secondary iPad or something like that. Regardless, you'll probably want to require all of your contacts with you, but you want to remember these are two completely different platforms.
This is definitely not like switching between two Android devices, which may easily sync through Google‘s servers. It’s also important to notice that transferring contacts isn’t super tough. Move to iOS is meant to help Android users… well, move to iOS. Despite all the hate, it got at first, the application certainly does what it’s advertised to do. And it does it very well. It can migrate contacts, messages, photos, videos, bookmarks, email accounts, and calendars straight to any iOS device.
When you are able to transfer all of your data, the iPhone or iPad will simply create a personal Wi-Fi network and find your Android gadget. Enter the security code and the process will start. Simple as pie!

Using Google sync
While Apple isn't traditionally keen on supporting Android users, Google is that the exact opposite. Most of the search giant’s services and features work alright on iPhones, and grabbing contacts from their servers isn't the exception.
Do confine mind this only works if you already sync your contacts to your Google account. Some devices don’t do that by default. If you've got been associating all of your contacts with Google’s servers, transferring contacts is going to be a breeze.
Just unlock your iPhone and head over to Settings & Passwords and Accounts (Settings & Mail, Contacts, Calendar on older devices). From there, enter your Gmail account and confirm the Contacts checker is turned on. Done!
Transfer manually using a VCF file
Don’t like dealing with all that darn cloud stuff? We can understand. There are also ways to manually transfer your contacts from Android devices to iOS ones. You can make a VCF file, transfer it over to the iPhone then simply open it to grab all of your contacts data. The process is simpler than it seems; let’s walk you through it.
1. Unlock your Android device and head to the Contacts app.
2. Hit the menu (three dots) button and select Import/export & Export to storage.
3. This will create a VCF file and save it on your phone.
4. Get this file on your iPhone. I like sending it to myself via an email synced to the iOS device (simple, fast and no cables required).
5. Open the file and the iOS device will prompt you to add all contacts.
6. Follow the steps and be on your way. Your contacts have been transferred!
Using your SIM card
Another way to transfer your contacts from Android to iOS is to use your smartphone’s nano-SIM card. This is handy if you’re either having trouble with your Google account, are offline, or don’t want Google’s involvement for whatever reason.
To transfer your contacts to the SIM card from your Android phone, you’ll first need to visit your phone’s contacts app. The process differs slightly depending on the manufacturer from here. For instance, Huawei users should choose Settings & Import/export & Export to SIM card. Meanwhile, Samsung users should tap Manage contacts & Import/export contacts & Export & SIM cards.
Once you’ve inserted your Android phone’s SIM card into the iPhone and turned it on, you’ll get to hit Settings & Contacts & Import SIM Contacts to start the transfer process. Your contacts should then be saved on the iPhone in Contacts.
Using a third-party app
